Why SAFE

WHY HAS A CAREER IN Fire Technology, Industrial Safety & Security management BECOME SUCH AN ATTRACTIVE OPTION???

There are three important reasons for this

  1. All of a sudden safety has become very important. This is because of the governmental rules implemented for making safety strict in establishments. The recent adoption of constructional Fire & Safety Act by parliament has made appointment of Fire, safety & Security officers compulsory at all construction sites. As a result a flood gate of opportunities is opening up in India. Abroad, especially in the Gulf safety& Security is a very strict norm. As a result they require thousands of people there as Fire , safety & Security officers.
  2. It is a highly paid job. In India the start salary is in the range of 15000/- to 20000/- per month. Abroad it is in the range of Rs.65000/- to Rs.80000/-
  3. It is a job with high status. A Fire, Safety & Security officer is a highly respected person in his office. He works with dignity and it is always a management position.

Is it possible to get such salaries as a fresher?

The salary (you can draw in any field) and the experience (you require to get that salary) in any career greatly depends on the demand & supply gap. There is a huge shortage of trained hands in this field. The booming constructional industry becoming strict with statutory Fire , safety & Security rules and norms and acute shortage of trained hands in constructional safety is widening the gap between demand and supply , making it possible for anyone with knowledge in the field from a reputed organization, to latch on to huge salaries and good designations in safety.
